not so inspired
to change the world today
just want to coast
but my rabble-rousing ways
are too close to the surface
to be quelled
so do I pick a battle
or take what’s in front of me first
garnering reactions are not enough
something about the foolishness
of the big talkers I encounter
just doesn’t sit right
so I have to move
take on the offenders
one at a time or en masse
however it comes
